• Dial-up connections are targeted more at residential users, as their speed and reliability are limited and can often end up costing more than dedicated lines for multiple connections. This type is usually sufficient for the single user who primarily wants to surf the Web, where time and reliability are not critical. If your total online communication cost exceeds $200/month you should consider a leased line.
