NEWS FOR WEEK 5 - (07/15/02 - 07/18/02) - Updated 7/20 at 00:10

1. There will be one BPO this week.  It will be on Thurs., 7/18.  It will be a short-answer quiz covering lecture material given through Weds., 7/17. 

2. A WebSupp Assignment for Chapter 8 may be posted later this week or the early part of next week.   Check this site daily.

3. If you are interested in ERA's found at the end of Chapter 8 of the DC Text, the ones I would suggest as most useful for point-getting activities would be:

Page 8.36 - Key Terms:  You should be able to define or explain any of these terms.

Page 8.38 & 8.39 - Checkpoint:  You should be able to answer any of the questions in the first four sections. .

Page 8.41 - Web Work:  Try Number 2 (Evaluating Operating Systems Lab) and Number 5 (In the News).  

4.  Since we are getting close to the end of the course, you should be prepared for Bonus Activities covering any of the material that we have had since the beginning of the semester.  Beginning this week, some of these may be the unannounced "pop" quizzes mentioned on Page 3 of your Green Sheet.
